CM Punk Doubts Seth Rollins Would Have Received The Same WWE Opportunities Without Him
CM Punk thinks Seth Rollins’ WWE career would have been different without him

It’s fair to say that CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ professional relationship is ‘tense’ at the very least, with Rollins repeatedly airing his opinions on Punk to the media and on WWE TV.
The two are seemingly on a collision course in WWE, with Punk’s return at Survivor Series 2023 a bone of contention for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and during a conversation on the WWE 2024 Preview Special on Peacock, Punk claimed that Rollins’ career would be different if it weren’t for the roads Punk paved in WWE:
“I’m in a position where it feels maybe strange, me vocalizing it but I think Seth (Rollins) is a guy, at least I definitely thought it 10 years ago, that he’s a dude that I don’t think would have gotten the opportunities he has gotten if it wasn’t for me. That might hurt some people’s feelings but facts are facts. They don’t care about your feelings,” said Punk.
Prior to joining WWE, both men reigned as Ring of Honor World Champion, with both men signing their WWE contracts whilst reigning as champ. In WWE, Rollins’ debut on the main roster as part of The SHIELD came during a storyline with Punk, with Punk later feuding with the ‘Hounds of Justice’.
