CM Punk & Eddie Kingston Face-To-Face Set For AEW Rampage
Tensions are bubbling between the pair
Nov 4, 2021
As seen on last night’s edition of AEW: Dynamite, CM Punk was in a bad mood, and after giving praise to Jon Moxley for seeking help in his addiction battles, Punk turned his attention to Eddie Kingston, after the pair had a verbal altercation last week.
However, 'The Mad King' was not at Dynamite, leading Punk to call out Kingston and told him to be in St. Louis for Rampage on Friday for a face-to-face.
Punk also mentioned that he was so pre-occupied with Eddie that he couldn’t get into the mindset to take Moxley’s space in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament - a spot which ultimately went to Miro.
Now AEW have confirmed that the two will meet in St. Louis, Tweeting the following:
“.@CMPunk will be waiting for an apology from @MadKing1981 #EddieKingston in St. Louis this Friday on #AEWRampage - Tune in Live Nationwide for #AEWDynamite on @tntdrama NOW”
Kingston has apparently confirmed he'll appear, simply tweeting a gif of Heath Ledger’s Joker saying “I like that”.
It seem as though all roads lead to Full Gear, and it’ll be interesting to see what comes of their face-to-face session.
