Christian Cage Turns On Jungle Boy At AEW Road Rager

Christian, Christian at last you're on your own!

After months of teases, Christian Cage finally turned on Jungle Boy following the main event of the special Road Rager episode of Dynamite on Wednesday.

Jurassic Express lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to The Young Bucks in the Ladder Match main event and, as he has done so many times, Christian made his way to the ring and consoled Jungle Boy on his loss. This time was different, though, as Cage suddenly decked Jungle Boy with a Killswitch before he followed up with a Con-Chair-To to leave his former friend lying.

Jungle Boy was then removed from ringside on a stretcher, all the while Christian insulted Jack Perry's mother and sister, telling them they raised "a piece of sh*t" before he joked about Jungle Boy having to enjoy his birthday on June 16 by drinking his cake through a straw.

Prior to Wednesday's turn, Christian had been Jungle Boy's manager and mentor since they became friends following Double Or Nothing 2021. Their presumed upcoming match is one that has been hotly anticipated by AEW fans.
