Chavo Guerrero Calls Out Tony Khan Following Removal From AEW Roster Page
Is Chavo gone for good?
Mar 1, 2022
Chavo Guerrero has called out AEW President Tony Khan following his removal from the All Elite Wrestling roster page.
Guerrero previously served as Andrade el Idolo's executive consultant in AEW, debuting in the promotion in July of 2021. Chavo then remained with the company until the September 10 edition of Rampage when Andrade turned on Guerrero and attacked him because of his interference in the former La Sombra's win over PAC.
While he hadn't appeared on TV since then, Chavo was still present on the AEW roster page but he was removed in recent days, something Guerrero took exception to.
Taking to Twitter, Chavo wrote in a now-deleted tweet: "That's news to me! I guess having @TonyKhan telling me to go film Young Rock Season 2, & my job will be waiting for me when I'm done, didn't mean much."
Guerrero's original deal with AEW kept him with the promotion through the All Out pay-per-view and he was expected to return after season two of Young Rock had been filmed. Chavo serves as the wrestling coordinator on the NBC TV show based on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's life.
