This weekend, IMPACT Wrestling held their latest round of TV tapings at the Fronton Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico. The tapings included notable matches like RVD vs. Joey Ryan, Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards, and Rhino vs. Taurus.

Taya Valkyrie also defended her IMPACT Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace. The two women's wrestlers were supposed to face each other one on one at Hard To Kill, but ODB was ultimately added to the match which allowed Valkyrie to retain the title in a Triple Threat match. At the tapings, however, Grace proved she was the better wrestler as she vanquished Valkyrie to begin her first reign as champion.

This only fuelled speculation that The Perfect Woman could soon be headed to WWE. Her husband, John Morrison, re-signed with the company back in December and at the time, WWE Stars

Chelsea Green

and

Paige

both encouraged Valkyrie to join him.

Valkyrie herself also teased last week that she could be heading to WWE. During a media call before Hard To Kill, she mentioned her dream matches for 2020 would be against Charlotte Flair, Mia Yim, and Candice LeRae, who are all currently WWE Superstars.

Valkyrie said:

"As far as WWE, there are a few dream matches there. Obviously for me, I look at someone like Charlotte Flair. I look at lots of the girls in NXT. I've only wrestled Mia Yim once; I think that she’s very talented and I would love to do that again one day. Candice LeRae and I barely touched. We’ve just only ever really wrestled in a tag match."
