Bron Breakker Wins The Intercontinental Title At WWE SummerSlam 2024

After 120 days, Sami Zayn's fourth Intercontinental Title reign is over.

Bron Breakker won at SummerSlam 2024 in emphatic fashion. Zayn looked to be on course for victory about five minutes in after he connected with a Blue Thunder Bomb and an Exploder Suplex in the corner. Breakker annihilated Zayn with a Spear when the champion went for the Helluva Kick. Another Spear followed after Breakker picked up speed and the 'Big Bad Booty Nephew' pinned Zayn for the 1-2-4 to capture the Intercontinental Championship.

Bron Breaker has been on the receiving end of a push ever since he moved to the main roster on a full-time basis in February 2024, entering the Intercontinental Title picture earlier in the Summer.

Breakker initially lost to Zayn at Money in the Bank, with reports noting that WWE delayed his title win so it could take place on a bigger stage. The ‘Puppy Faced Gremlin’ earned another shot at Zayn by winning a number one contender’s match against Ilja Dragunov on the July 22 episode of Monday Night Raw.

In addition to his new Intercontinental Title, Breakker is a two-time NXT Champion and one-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
