Last week's WWE Raw culminated with Brock Lesnar assaulting Seth Rollins all over the arena.
After beating up The Man's Man around the ringside area, The Beast would take Rollins from an ambulance and F5 The Architect onto a stretcher backstage.
The challenger in SummerSlam's Universal title match was left bleeding from the mouth.
It looks like the angle will be followed up on this week's Raw after WWE confirmed Universal Champion Lesnar will be appearing on the show.
"Lesnar will be in the house for the final Raw before SummerSlam. Will The Kingslayer also make an appearance?" - a preview from WWE.com reads.
At the time of writing, despite the internal injuries that must have been suffered by Seth, his title match against Lesnar is still on.
SummerSlam takes place this Sunday from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
Changes are still being made to the event's card even at this late stage, with a
stipulation reportedly added to a title matchahead of tonight's Raw.
