Brock Lesnar will reportedly be working as a babyface in WWE following his shock return at SummerSlam 2021.

Lesnar surprised the world by making his comeback to WWE at the close of this past Saturday's SummerSlam at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Sporting a new look, Lesnar confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns after his main event match with John Cena.

With Reigns established as WWE's biggest heel character over the past 12 months, it had been assumed that The Beast would be working opposite him as a face. PWInsider have now confirmed that Lesnar is being built and booked as a babyface on WWE's blue brand.

The last time Lesnar was officially babyface in WWE was back in early 2003. During that time, a 25-year-old Lesnar feuded with the likes of Big Show, Kurt Angle and John Cena.

The Beast teased a babyface run in mid-2015 to early 2016, having challenged a heel Seth Rollins for the WWE Title before briefly feuding with the Wyatt Family heading into WrestleMania 32. However, WWE switched tracks and put Lesnar with established babyface Dean Ambrose instead.
