The huge rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in WWE will reportedly take place at either Crown Jewel 2021 in October or at Survivor Series 2021 in November.

WWE SummerSlam 2021 closed with the shocking return of Lesnar to the promotion, who confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns and former advocate Paul Heyman following the Universal Championship main event win over John Cena.

Lesnar hasn't been seen in WWE since losing the WWE Title to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 last year, and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that plans for The Beast and Reigns to collide again have been brought forward significantly.

Meltzer claims that the working idea was to hold off on a Reigns vs. Lesnar rematch until WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles in 2023. WWE is working on the basis that Reigns will be facing The Rock at WrestleMania 38 next year, defend the Universal Title and carry huge momentum into the following 12 months.

However, is appears those plans have now been changed and WWE have decided to speed up the feud, bringing it forward to close out 2021. Instead, WWE will now have Reigns vs. Lesnar take place at either Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia at the end of October, or push the match to Survivor Series 2021 in November.
