The family of the late Brian Pillman have revealed they have reached an agreement on a legends deal with WWE after gaining ownership of the legendary Loose Cannon’s rights.

Taking to Instagram stories, Pillman’s daughter Brittany Pillman Evans wrote that:

"I never thought I would see this day but after 27 long years, my siblings and I finally own the rights to our father's legacy!” she wrote. "I just want to say THANK YOU to all the fans for keeping my father's name alive, this is all because of YOU, and thanks to WWE for making this happen! Stay tuned for new merch coming soon."

Pillman is best known for his run in WCW as Flyin’ Brian, subsequently forming the Hollywood Blonds with Steve Austin before joining The Four Horsemen. After controversially exiting WCW and joining ECW, Pillman would develop the innovative line-blurring ‘Loose Cannon’ persona, and would join WWE in 1996.

In WWE, Pillman would feud with former partner Austin, and would join the heel Hart Foundation stable with Bret and Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, and Davey Boy Smith.

Pillman’s son Brian Jr. currently wrestles in WWE NXT as Lexis King.
