Brian Gewirtz Considered A Possible "Plan B" For WWE Creative
Gewirtz will be around to work on The Rock's WWE creative.

With Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson now sitting on the TKO Board of Directors and evidently set for a WrestleMania XL showdown with current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, one of his closest allies may find his way back into a position within WWE creative.
Brian Gewirtz, who worked for WWE between 1999 and 2015 (serving as Raw's head writer between 2002 and 2012), will be in the mix as the voice representing Johnson during the creative process, according to PWInsider.
Their report added that some believe Gewirtz will be around physically (at least for major shows) going forward. Furthermore, Gewirtz could be used as a 'Plan B' by Endeavor, should they need to pivot WWE's direction and go with a Johnson-backed creative in the future.
After leaving WWE, Gewirtz worked as Senior Vice President of Development for Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions. He was heavily involved in the NBC sitcom Young Rock, which centred around Johnson's early life and career.
Seemingly in response to the negative online reaction to The Rock's segment with Reigns and Cody Rhodes from last Friday's episode of SmackDown, Gewirtz tweeted a ringside video of the reaction The Rock's entrance received, alongside the caption 'You all have no idea...'.
WWE have been monitoring the response to The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
