Bobby Lashley Vs. The Miz Rematch Set For WWE Raw

One week after dropping the WWE championship to Bobby Lashley in the main event of Monday Night Raw, The Miz is receiving a rematch.

WWE's write-up of the match reads, "Last week on Raw, Bobby Lashley conquered The Miz in dominant fashion to become the new WWE Champion in a Lumberjack Match.

"Tonight, the All Mighty titleholder will kick off his reign in a rematch against The A-Lister. Can Miz find a way to overcome the intense force of nature? Or will it simply be the first stop on the All Mighty Road to WrestleMania? Don’t miss Monday Night Raw, tonight at 8/7 C on USA."

Miz won the championship on February 21, after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase on battered WWE champion Drew McIntyre at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Lashley compounded a tired McIntyre's predicament by further beating him down just prior to the cash-in.

Subsequently, Lashley confronted new champion Miz on the following night's Raw, demanding a title match in exchange for his help. The match took place the following week where, after many false starts, Lashley captured the WWE title for the first time.
