Even though Bobby Lashley only re-debuted in WWE on the Raw after WrestleMania 34, his character has gone through a number of changes already. He started off life back in the company as a powerful man, he then went in to being a family man who was seemingly tortured by his sisters during childhood, he then went heel, and then into a narcacistic muscular man with his no. 1 fan by his side.

However, if Bobby had his way, there's a chance we would never have seen the different variations of his character that we have over the past 12 months, as American Top Team owner Dan Lambert revealed in an interview with

Fightful's

James Lynch.

Lashley wanted to include American Top Team as part of his WWE persona, just like he did in IMPACT Wrestling not too long ago: "I like the MMA angle that we did in Impact," Lambert said.

"Obviously I'm biased. I know Bobby was trying to hope to give that a run in WWE but I don't know if there's any interest in that or not. It'd be a lot of fun if we ever got that opportunity."
