After a spirited effort against TNT Champion Sammy Guevara on AEW: Dynamite Anniversary, AEW announced that Bobby Fish is All Elite.

A tag team specialist, Fish has won gold in ROH, WWE NXT, and NJPW amongst others, and since his WWE release has been working with MLW. Fish had recently committed to MLW, so this signing could suggest either a working relationship between AEW and MLW, or could just be another example of AEW talent being able to take outside bookings provided they don’t interfere with AEW’s plans.

Fish is soon to turn 45 years old, and is is unknown at this point how long his AEW deal is for, nor if Fish has signed on strictly in an in-ring capacity.

A 19-year veteran of the industry, Fish is best known for his tag work with Kyle O’Reilly, with the pair teaming across ROH and Japan as ReDragon, and later in NXT as part of The Undisputed Era alongside Roderick Strong, and fellow recent AEW signing Adam Cole.
