Bill Watts 'Fought For His Life' After Recent Serious Medical Issues
The WWE Hall of Famer has been in and out of hospital lately

WWE Hall of Famer 'Cowboy' Bill Watts made a rare public appearance recently when he was a guest on the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast.
During their conversation, the 83-year-old noted that he has experienced serious health issues of late due to COVID-19 and viral pneumonia.
"For the last four to five months, I got the worst strain of COVID and viral pneumonia and I really fought for my life. I've been in the hospital five times and you know, you're so weak and all you're gonna talk about is your damn health and I think what a miserable thing, and boy did we raise some Cain and do some things and we didn't even never consider getting old because we didn't even know what it was," said Watts.
An often controversial figure during his long and illustrious career, Watts achieved great success as both a wrestler and a booker, most notably during the 1980's for Mid-South Wrestling.
He subsequently had short spells in both WCW and WWE, before essentially leaving the business to focus on other endeavours.
Watts was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
