Big E: My Momentum Has Slowed Since WWE WrestleMania 37

Big E feels his momentum within WWE has slowed since WrestleMania 37 but is looking forward to trying to put that right at this year's Money In The Bank.

Big E lost the Intercontinental Championship to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania in April and has since regularly faced his nemesis in a series of singles and tag-team matches on Friday Night SmackDown.

The 35-year-old defeated Crews this past week on SmackDown to secure his place in the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match on Sunday 18 July, at the pay-per-view of the same name, and is hopeful it will be the chance to get back some of the momentum he has lost in the last couple of months.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, Big E said: “Yeah, it’s me and Apollo damn near every week, you know. I will say as much as we butted heads, Apollo Crews, I think, is an incredible talent. To beat a guy like him with [Commander] Azeez at ringside means something.

"So, for me, this is about getting on track. I really feel like my momentum has slowed since WrestleMania, and now, it’s time to get that back going.

"I’m excited! There’s a lot of things I’ve realized I haven’t done because I have been with The New Day for so long, and I haven’t done a lot of singles stuff. I actually have never been in a Money in the Bank match, so that should be dope."
