Big E's stint in hospital is over.
The former WWE Champion revealed on Twitter on Monday that he had been released from hospital, tweeting Andre Smith: "Appreciate you, man. I'm actually home now but Birmingham took good care of me."
Big E fractured his C1 and C6 vertebrae on last week's edition of SmackDown after he landed on his head following a Belly To Belly Suplex from Ridge Holland.
Big E had been teaming with his New Day faction-mate Kofi Kingston on the show against Holland and Sheamus in a programme that reportedly would have led to a six-man tag at WrestleMania 38 also featuring Xavier Woods and Butch.
The Powerhouse Of Positivity was stretchered out of the arena following the move and he received medical attention at a local hospital in Birmingham, Alabama before he was subsequently discharged.
Big E revealed he won't require surgery on his neck but there are fears he might not be able to wrestle again with Dr David Chao noting a C1 fracture "often heals incompletely and it may mean the end of his wrestling career."
