Becky Lynch Plans To Revive 'The Man' In WWE When The Time Is Right
The Man will be back
Jan 31, 2022
While Becky Lynch is currently going by Big-Time Becks within WWE, she rose to superstardom in the company as 'The Man,' the persona she portrayed from 2018 until May 2020.
Speaking about her past success with Fox News, Lynch revealed she will go back to being 'The Man' when the time is right.
"When it's time for The Man to come back around, The Man will come back around. Big Time Becks is what we're going with now. But we own that. Just so you know that," Lynch said.
Ric Flair still refers to himself as 'The Man' and since he departed WWE, The Nature Boy has claimed he still owns the trademarks for the term and said the promotion would need to pay him $20 million.
WWE and Flair did previously have a dispute over 'The Man' trademarks but they came to a settlement in May 2020 which saw the 16-time world champion sell the trademarks to the company for an undisclosed amount.
As Big-Time Becks, Lynch has reigned as Raw Women's Champion since October. She has successfully defended the gold against the likes of Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Doudrop.
