Randall Barry Orton, the son of Bob Orton Sr and uncle to current WWE star Randy Orton, passed away on Friday 19 March 2021 at 62-years-old.
Best known during his wrestling career as Barry Orton, he also performed under the monikers Berry Orton, Barry O, Superstar Barry O and The Zodiak.
Orton was more commonly known outside the ring for opening discussing the issues that plagued professional wrestling during the 1990s. He would claim that Terry Galvin, who worked with Pat Patterson in Talent Relations, tried to sexually harass him during a car journey while he was trying to break into the wrestling industry in the 1970s.
Orton had two spells with the WWF; in 1985-86 and, after a spell in prison, in 1990 and 1991. He found himself mainly utilised as an undercard talent.
As The Zodiak, Orton had been a main event talent in Stampede Wrestling in 1987, and was noted for his tidy in-ring work and strong promos on the microphone.
After retiring from professional wrestling in 1991, he moved into acting, appearing in a number of movies.
