WWE talent are reportedly reacting positively to the tentative plans WWE have in place for their 2022 pay-per-view schedule.
For the first time ever, WWE announced their plans for pay-per-views for the entire upcoming year on Monday 25 October, revealing nine scheduled events with working dates and, in almost every instance, a venue and host city.
Fightful Select is reporting that, having reached out to over a dozen wrestlers in WWE about the schedule, the overwhelming response has been favourable.
The most notable aspect of the 2022 pay-per-view schedule is another two-night WrestleMania event, with WrestleMania 38 set to take place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April. This has reportedly been a very popular move with talent as it eases the schedule on the media side of things while also making the entire event easier.
Another positive move, in the eyes of the roster, is a large switch to Saturday pay-per-views as opposed to Sundays. Seven of the nine announced events have Saturday dates - including the two-night WrestleMania - and talent reportedly feel this is a good move by WWE.
The unannounced location for the September pay-per-view is likely to be because WWE are planning a major return to the United Kingdom, while Fightful also report that Saudi Arabia events are tentatively scheduled for February and October.
