LA Knight ultimately failed to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in the latest interference-riddled match featuring WWE's top star. That doesn't mean WWE are looking to push Knight down the card, though.

Knight was a featured performer on the November 10 edition of Friday Night SmackDown as he first went toe-to-toe with Grayson Waller in a promo segment before the former IMPACT World Champion went on to defeat Waller in an 11-minute match following the BFT.

Knight also looks set to remain in the Bloodline's sphere as Jimmy Uso challenged Knight to a match. The two talents will go one-on-one during the November 17 episode of SmackDown. Solo Sikoa is also set to return on SmackDown so he may well get involved in Knight's match following his own win over John Cena at Crown Jewel.

Knight remains a strong merchandise mover in WWE and the company want to keep him as a top star, with Dave Meltzer reporting on Wrestling Observer Radio that Knight's booking on SmackDown was designed to keep the former Eli Drake looking strong following his loss to Reigns.
