Anthony Ogogo Reportedly Has Heat With AEW Talent Over Social Media Comments

Anthony Ogogo's recent social media comments regarding new ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham and his wife, Jordynne Grace, have reportedly earned the former boxer some heat among his AEW peers.

Ogogo took aim at Gresham on Twitter following his World Title win over Jay Lethal at ROH End Of An Era earlier this month, mocking Gresham's height and comparing his Title victory to when Hornswoggle won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Gresham didn't initially react but his wife, IMPACT Wrestling's Grace, did engage with Ogogo, leading to a further war of words before Grace deactivated her Twitter account.

Gresham would make clear on Twitter that Ogogo's comments were not 'a work' and the former boxer was taking legitimate shots at him and his spouse. In an update from Fightful Select, Ogogo's behaviour has not been looked upon favourably by his fellow AEW wrestlers.

Many sources cited in the report suggest that Gresham is highly respected across wrestling and should have been given a heads up if he was going to be the subject of someone else's worked angle.

One person indicated that they didn't believe Ogogo was being genuine in his comments and was simply trying to develop an angle with Gresham. However, by the time Gresham and Grace made is clear they weren't in on the angle, Ogogo had gone too far to stop.

It is said the heat on Ogogo isn't substantial and, while it isn't clear if anyone has spoken directly to him regarding his conduct, it is believed that this situation isn't something that can't be fixed and moved on from.
