With Monday Night Raw celebrating its 30th anniversary with Raw is XXX, WWE brought in a number of legends for the festivities in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Several WWE Hall of Famers appeared on the show and legends were already popping up before Raw even went on the air, with Jerry Lawler and Ron Simmons announcing in a digital video that the first hour of Raw would be commercial-free. They also revealed the main event United States Title match between Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory would be a No Disqualification bout.

Then, once Monday Night Raw got underway, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart made their entrances, with Hogan being cheered by the fans in attendance this time around as he welcomed everyone to the show.

The American Badass Undertaker also made his first appearance on WWE TV since he was buried alive at Survivor Series 2003, interrupting an LA Knight promo by driving to the ring on a trike motorcycle. Knight initially scurried away from The Phenom but Bray Wyatt suddenly popped up behind him, forcing the former Eli Drake to head back to the ring. The Undertaker then choked Knight until Bray Wyatt decked his Royal Rumble opponent with a Sister Abigail. 'Taker and Wyatt then shared a moment to bring the segment to an end.

D-Generation X members Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, and X-Pac appeared on Raw is XXX later in the show, with Kurt Angle becoming a member of the Hall of Fame stable. The group were soon interrupted by Imperium and unlike the 25th-anniversary of Raw, DX decided not to attack GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci, instead noting they were too old. Teddy Long then made his way onto the stage and announced Imperium would take on Seth Rollins and The Street Profits, with Kurt Angle as special guest referee.

Furthermore, Diamond Dallas Page, Ron Simmons, The Godfather, Ted DiBiase, Irwin R Schyster, and Madusa all appeared on the show in poker segments with JBL and Baron Corbin.
