AJ Styles Comments On WWE Releasing Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson

On Wednesday, WWE released Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and 21 other Superstars after the company announced they would be making cutbacks because of the coronavirus pandemic. This abruptly ended The Good Brothers run in WWE only 11 days after they were part of one of the main events of WrestleMania 36.

Gallows' and Anderson's longtime friend and O.C. partner AJ Styles commented on their releases yesterday on his Mixer channel. Styles said: "If you guys didn't know, Gallows and Anderson, guys who were like my brothers, were released yesterday, and that one hurt, that one hurt really bad, really bad. The only way I know how to explain it is these guys are my family and I couldn't take care of my own brothers, that's the way I feel about it. I'm the oldest, I'm supposed to take care of them and I didn't manage to do that. I feel responsible in some weird way for them being released. It's devastating, I don't know any other way to explain it."

Despite being released, both Gallows and Anderson seem positive about their futures in professional wrestling and "Machine Gun" even teased he could be heading back to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, presumably with his good brother.
