Since debuting in All Elite Wrestling at Double Or Nothing back in May 2019, Jon Moxley has been one of the young promotion's top stars. He is undefeated in singles competition and has achieved notable victories over PAC, Darby Allin, and Kenny Omega. He is now the number one contender to Chris Jericho's AEW World Championship and will face Le Champion at Revolution on February 29.

While Moxley was known as Dean Ambrose in WWE, he doesn't have to worry about changing from Jon Moxley anytime soon as he filed two trademarks on February 7 for "Jon Moxley" and "Mox."

According to the trademark filing, the names will be used for professional wrestling appearances and matches, as well as for merchandise. AEW currently produces Moxley's merch but this will seemingly give him more control over what they create.

The application was done on behalf of The Death Rider by Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP who filed the trademark with the United States Trademark and Patent Office. The firm has also worked with Cody Rhodes, Shawn Spears, Andrade, and Charlotte Flair to file similar wrestling-related trademarks.
