A lot goes into being a professional wrestler. The training, the mannerisms, the character, and the overall presentation, such as gear and music.

For Bobby Fish the latter was possibly more important than he realised, revealing on the AEW Unrestricted podcast that leaving behind his ROH reDragon theme music was hard, but getting it back in AEW was like ‘putting on a good pair of jeans’:

“Little bit or circumstance, maybe serendipitous in a way,” said Fish when talking of his AEW debut “I got really accustomed to that song and where I was, and it was time for new music and parting with that was difficult because I was just so accustomed to it. Obviously, I became accustomed to what we were doing [in NXT] as well, so when I knew [AEW] was coming up, Adam Cole had - I loved and continue to love Adam’s new music, it’s so good, right? That being said, I was like, ‘I don’t know, do I get new music? What’s it going to be?’ Anyway, to think then, Jeff Jones actually, it was his suggestion and I was like, ‘I haven’t listened to it in a while but I do remember loving it’ and yeah, it just made sense. So as soon as the first chord ripped, it just felt like, ‘Ohhh… yes!’ Like putting on a good pair of jeans.”
