On the same show in which CM Punk hyped up his credentials as a ratings draw for All Elite Wrestling, the August 12 episode of AEW Collision remained below 500,000 viewers in the United States. The show airs on TNT on Saturday nights at 8 pm ET.

Wrestlenomics reported that Collision averaged 476,000 viewers, including approximately 223,000 in the key 18-49 demographic to draw a 0.17 rating. AEW Collision finished #11 on cable in the United States, with Collision facing NFL preseason games and UFC Fight Night for competition.

AEW Collision was up 14 percent from the prior week's total viewership of 417,000. The 18-49 demo was up 36 percent from the prior week's 0.13 rating. The August 5 show went head-to-head with WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view.

AEW Collision peaked for the main event of CMFTR vs. House of Black for the AEW World Trios Titles. The final quarter-hour averaged 530,000 total viewers and 242,000 viewers in the 18-49 demo.

Collision was ultimately below what Warner Bros. Discovery are hoping to draw from the show of between 550,000 and 600,000 viewers and around a 0.21 rating.
