AEW Announces Battle Of The Belts III
The third AEW Battle of the Belts TNT Special is pencilled in

AEW have officially announced that the third ever Battle of the Belts is set to take place in August 2022.
Battle of the Belts III will be taped in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 5 following a live edition of Rampage. No air date has yet been given for the special, but many assume it will air on Saturday August 6 following suit from Battle of the Belts II which aired one day after it was filmed.
AEW started airing their one hour TV specials in January 2022, a quasi throw-back to the classic Jim Crockett/WCW Clash of the Champions events of the 1980s and 1990s.
The first two Battle of the Belts events have featured the likes of the AEW Women’s World Championship, ROH World Championship, AEW TNT Championship, and the unsanctioned FTW Championship being defended.
The Rampage/BOTB tapings in Grand Rapids mark AEW’s first appearance in the city, following suit from other AEW city debuts including Los Angeles, Ontario CA, Detroit, Savannah GA, and Worcester MA.
