AEW & WWE No Longer Going Head-To-Head On October 7
AEW Rampage and Battle of the Belts IV have moved
Sep 28, 2022
All Elite Wrestling and WWE will no longer be going head-to-head on Friday, October 7.
AEW Rampage typically airs at 10 pm ET on Friday nights in the United States but TNT's schedule initially had the October 7 show listed as beginning at 9 pm ET. Rampage would then be followed by a live Battle of the Belts IV at 10 pm ET, with both shows set to emanate from Washington, DC.
This would have put AEW Rampage head-to-head with Friday Night SmackDown for the first time since October 2021 but in an updated listing, Rampage is now scheduled to air at 10 pm ET next week. Battle of the Belts will air following that show at 11 pm ET.
October 7 will ultimately be a busy night of professional wrestling as along with WWE and AEW shows, IMPACT Wrestling's biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound for Glory, is set to air from 8 pm ET in Albany, New York.
No matches have been announced for Battle of the Belts IV as of yet. AEW will reportedly start building towards the show on tonight's episode of Dynamite.
