All Elite Wrestling produced what many have described as one of the best pay-per-views in 20 years with All Out on September 5 and the show drew a strong buyrate for the promotion.
AEW President Tony Khan noted on Busted Open Radio that the pay-per-view drew "well over" 200,000 buys, making it the biggest non-WWE pay-per-view since WCW Spring Stampede 1999.
"It's great to be able to tell you guys that our pay-per-view did well over 200,000 buys which is a big milestone that nobody had hit in this country for a long time so it's a pretty special week for AEW," Khan said.
Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer noted pay-per-view buys on streaming platforms accounted for 115,000, double what All Out 2020 did. Meltzer also estimated that AEW would take home just under $5 million from the pay-per-view, live gate, merchandise and cinema ticket buys.
The All Out pay-per-view featured several strong matches and Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Minoru Suzuki and Ruby Soho all made their AEW debuts during the show.
